Get Into the Thanksgiving Spirit: Be A Part of the "Feeling Grateful" Blog Series

In the November 2014 issue ofO magazine, contributors in the issue get in the thanksgiving spirit by answering four statements about gratefulness. As soon as I read there answers, my next thought was, “How can I get at least 30 or more people to answer the same statements to create a Feeling Grateful Series on my blog, Grow Forward & Flourish?”
I decided to write this post with the intention of inspiring a people to take time out of there schedule to pen a few sentences that reflect what they are grateful for in their lives by answering the following four + Bonus statements:

I'll never stop being grateful for... My favorite way to say thank you is... The best thank you I've received was... When I was a kid, I didn't realize how grateful I should have been for... (Bonus) The attitude of gratitude helps me to...

Nurturing an attitude of gratitude for that which I have certainly plays a HUGE role in my ability to maintain my joy and happiness, even during difficult times…

Something to Think About: What Will Be Your Life's Legacy?

The legacy of your life is created by the relationships you cultivate during your lifetime and the contributions you make in life.

If someone were to interview you today and ask you the following three questions, how would you answer them?

What are you building that is making you feel proud of the life that you are living?
What are you creating with your life?
How are you contributing your ideas, knowledge and skills in meaningful ways that are making those around you and the world better?
Why is it important for you to think about the legacy you are creating of your life? Here are a few reasons.

Beginning with the end in mind enables us to manage our lives congruently with our core values, beliefs and priorities.
When we are clear about the legacy we want to leave of our lives, we make choices based on what is important to us doing just that instead of allowing the opinions and expectations of others shape the life we live.
What we do affects others. It keeps our eye on the BIG picture.

The Launch of the Living My Dream! Blog Series

Jim Rohn, business philosopher and author once said, "The legacy we live is part of the ongoing foundations of life. Those who came before leave us the world we live in. Those who will come after will have only what we leave them. We are stewards of this world, and we have a calling in our lives to leave it better than how we found it, even it seems like such a small part."
When we read about the stories of people who have summoned the courage to become all that they can be, including efforts to make a difference in the lives of others, their actions inspire our heart with hope and encourages our faith with the belief that we can do the same. One of the reasons that Chicken Soup for the Soul continues to be such a popular and successful book series is because of how each of us relate to the personal stories shared in these books.

My mission here at Grow Forward & Flourish is to empower the seeds of greatness dwelling in your potential. By taking purpose driven actions that…
