Success Leaves Clues

I once lived a life DRIVEN by how the world defined success: position, paper, power and possessions. I am now puttin forth my best effort to be DIRECTED by the definition of success in God's Word. The following scripture verses provide clues as to how those who are believers in Christ as there Lord and Savior can attain success in a way pleasing to God our Father:

Joshua 1:8- Study this Book of instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

Success Tip: Our schedules are packed with activities. Schedule uninterrupted time on a daily basis reading and meditating on God's Word. If you are being challenged in a specific area, then seek out scripture verses pertaining to that topic and begin to meditate on them until the Word becomes life to your Spirit.

Psalms 1:vs.(1-3) Oh,the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.

Success Tip: Be careful of the company you keep.  Character is everything. Consider all advice you receive  based on God's Word being the final authority.

Proverbs 3 vs.(5-6) Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do no depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all that you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Success Tip: Have confidence that God ALWAYS have your best interest in mind. Allow his Word to guide you in the direction you should take in the matter of concern.

These are three of countless scripture verses in which God's Word provides clues to his children as to how we should serve him and be successful in our endeavors.  When we consider our approach to creating success based on God's Word we can remain confident that there is nothing impossible unto Him.(Luke1:37)

If you neglect to recharge a battery, it dies. And if you run full speed ahead without stopping for water, you lose momentum to finish the race.
~ Oprah Winfrey ~

How often have you thought, “Where’s my get up and go? I’m tired all the time. But it’s not my body that’s tired. It’s like it’s me that’s tired inside my body.” So many of us are caught up in an energy rat race”, according to Mira Kirshenbaum, author of The Emotional Energy Factor: The Secrets High Energy People Use to Beat Emotional Fatigue. She says, “The demands of life, if not managed, will exhaust our emotional energy.” Emotional energy is defined by Kirshenbaum as “the preconditions for everything we care about. Everything worth doing that’s difficult gets lost without it. Marriages fail when we run out of the emotional energy to reach one more time across the divide of anger and silence. Dreams die when we lack the emotional energy to hang in there in the face of all the obstacles.” In my blog post, Simple Steps to Mana…
